PAM - Pitch AI Mentor

Founderland

The venture capital pitch process wasn't designed for women of colour — and the data on European VC funding allocation makes that structural reality impossible to ignore. Founderland and R/GA responded not with a campaign about the problem, but with a tool that directly attacks it. PAM is an AI pitch mentor that gives underrepresented founders something the VC world has never offered them equitably: repetitions. The platform simulates live pitch environments, critiques slide decks, and deploys virtual investors — creating a practice infrastructure that well-networked founders get through informal networks and warm introductions, and that everyone else has historically gone without. The strategic clarity here is sharp: rather than raising awareness of a funding gap, PAM closes a preparation gap. That's a meaningfully different intervention. What distinguishes this work is the specificity of its target — not 'founders,' not 'women founders,' but women of colour founders in Europe, a constituency precise enough that the tool can be genuinely calibrated to their experience rather than defaulting to a generic pitch framework. With 25% of the Founderland community already in beta and an estimated annual reach of 2,000 entrepreneurs, the measure of success isn't impressions — it's funded companies.
